It wasn’t without potential problems as Rick did a dummy run in the car the day before and got lost.

But it was pretty clear when they wear on the right track.

They eventually made it in good time, all in one piece (just!) and to a fantastic reception. Well done!

Not only did everyone have a great time, but we managed to sell out the event ahead of the evening and those in attendance helped raised a huge £2,075 towards Adams surgery. Thank you everyone who managed to take part!

From the live music, to the dance performances and the DJ who kept us dancing all night there was plenty of entertainment on offer. We also ran a raffle and auction, of which a particular highlight was the sale of a signed Manchester United football that raised £150 all on its own!

To raise as much as possible for Adams crucial SDR surgery in America – and have some fun at the same time.

Delightfully both aims were well met and whilst it was great to have a giggle, the best news to share from the afternoon is the massive sum of £1,596.40 generously donated by Rochdale shoppers. Great work guys and gals!
